Records

I got some new records over the weekend. Not really "new," though these are in the best shape I've seen any records in (one or two of them are practically new). List:

• Footloose
• Guys and Dolls (piano solos)
• Cabaret
• The King and I (movie)
• South Pacific
• Dames at Sea
• More Dirty Dancing
• The Great Broadway Shows

I also got the original 1954 cast recording of The Threepenny Opera on CD, as well as the soundtrack to Hannibal. The guy had a ton of books and records, so we got their number and they're going to let me come by one afternoon and take a look at the collection (I'll take twenty bucks with me). Kurt wants to come, too, to see the Civil War (and other history) books and tapes available. I'm going to call either today or tomorrow to see about possibly going in Friday around 3:00. They actually had two Footloose albums, but I only bought one. Tyler wants me to grab the other one for him, if it's still there. I hope they have it.

I'm listening to The Threepenny Opera now. It's...interesting. i'm sure I'll enjoy it more after a few more listens.
