daily posting
I kind of like just posting once a day. Gives me a time of the day to reflect on things...or ramble crap.I have decided not to audition for my school's Spring play The Odd Couple: female version because I really need to concentrate on my academics now. Big: the Musical was so much fun, but next semester I'll be in the Musical Production class and be working on Little Shop of Horrors so I really wouldn't want to try to do two shows at once...yet. Maybe next year.I'm going to raise my grade in each class two points by the end of this semester. That'll be easy in Advanced Acting. All I need to do is write three article summaries to make up for the three days I lost doing day shows of Big for Richard Hull Middle School. Language Arts will be easy since that is always my best academic class, and Chorus I don't really need to worry about sincs a.) I have a 96, and b.) I will still be in that class next semester since it is a year class. chemistry will be my most difficulat to raise, but if I do the work and the extra credit I should be just fine. Studying for finals wouldn't hurt either.Well, the computer I am always on happens to be in my parents' room, and my parents happen to want to go to bed. I guess I'll have to cut it short tonight.

We had a little yard sale today. My mom is trying to raise some money to buy a new couch and loveseat set for our great room. The furniture we currently have in there would look so much better in the front living room.
Speaking of that front living room, I set up the christmas train yesterday. It has about 18 feet of track and has these little Christmas bears on it. It plays a Christmas carol medly as it goes around. We're going to put the tree in the middle of it.
We're getting our tree tomorrow. We're going to get up a little earlier than usual, have breakfast, get in the car, and drive to N. GA to chop down our tree. Mom and I were at Pike's today and saw some trees they had put fake snow stuff on. They looked awesome stepping out of the store and out into what appeared to be a winter wonderland. The illusion was quickly ruined by the sight of the sun and the green garden and flowers just outside the area we were in, but I'm not complaining.
We had a lot of downtime during the yard sale, so we put up some lights on the bushes. The lights are those net kind that o over the bushes and look really neat at night. we have this strand of lights with a remote that controlls their blinking patter that we are going to put on a tree in front of our house. We don't usually do a lot of decorating for the holidays, but it looks like we might have a very festive house this Christmas. I'll take pictures and put them here/on Photobucket with links.
Well, that's all I really have to say for now. Maybe I'll write a little more later when I've got something to say.
By the way: Shaunette: I told you I'd send a link, so I expect a comment as proof that you were here.

I've been needing a place to blab about the thoughts spinning through my mind, so I figured this place would be good. It looks easy to use, it has a nice name, and the homepage didn't hurt my eyes with an upchuck of colors and buttons. All of these are things I look for when I look at websites. All of these affect my initial (and usually permanent) opinion on the site, which in turn decides if I will return or if I will avoid.First-impressions are what tend to stick with me. Not just with people, but also with things. Like musicals: if I hear the revival cast before I hear the original cast, chances are I will be more partial to the revival cast. I do listen to the counteract if there is a movie version, but I try to stay away from them so I don't get pissed off by the changes (*cough*thephantomoftheopera*cough*).Don't get me wrong, I love the Phantom movie, but I never really appreciated it until after I saw the live stage show at the Fox Theatre, ATL. After seeing it live, I was able to finally see that the stage show will always be superior, but the movie is simply wonderful in the ways it was able to expand upon those parts of the stage show that were somewhat limited by the abilities of the live theatre (a good example being Notes/Prima Donna). The Phantom of the Opera is one of my most favorite musicals, but thankfully I am not the type to limit myself to a favorite.I don't have a favorite movie, musical, singer, or food because I have too many things in all of those categories that I love enough to allow myself multiple favorites. Some people are critical of me not having a favorite this-or-that, but I just don't see why it is that people would want to limit themselves to simply one thing and not branch out a little (though I will admit that out of all of my favorite things I tend to be more partial to those that could be called my favorite favorites). It's nice having a place to just put down my most trivial of thoughts. In school, we have a quote/topic to write about in Language Arts class every day, but I don't always want to write about the quote/topic sometimes, and I would much rather just have ten minutes of free-writing (which we gave gotten a few times; I filled about six pages of free-writing once).Well, I feel like I've written enough for now. All this writing and I've yet to really introduce myself. Oh well, that'll have to come later. I'm out of ideas to write about now.By the way: I love Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Patti LuPone.
