If

This was a really long post. Then I tried to preview it. It lost all but the first two sentences.

Fuck this shit. I'll type it again tomorrow.

I'm still alive!

I just became a bit of a hermit over the summer. Every day I tell myself that I should write here, and yet I don't. Some(thing/one) always distracts me. Well, not today. I've got the whole house to myself for the first time in a while, and I'm going to spend a great deal of it here, catching up any readers I might have (and please, if you do read this, let me know. I don't like talking to myself).

So, school starts on Monday. In less than a week I will be waking up at 5:00 AM every day except Saturday and Sunday to catch the bus at 6:10 AM. The bell will ring at 7:15 AM to alert me that I am either a.) on time; b.) late for class. At 2:10 PM the bell will ring to alert me to get the hell out of there, and at 2:15 PM my bus will pull out of the parking lot and deposit me at home within 7 to 10 minutes. I'll get off the bus, go inside, pee, and at 2:30 PM I will take Brownie for a 15 minute walk so that she too can pee (and then some if neccessary). At 3:00 PM I will start my homework, and I will hopefully be done with it by 5:30 PM.

Ahh...schedules...

So, what happened to me this summer? What follows is a bulleted list of hilights from my summer:
  • My sophomore year ended.
  • I turned sixteen.
  • I took Drivers' Ed (I'm still waiting for them to call me in to drive).
  • My second cousin, Amelia, turned three.
  • My cousins Christopher and Rebecca decided to move back to Georgia (they moved to Florida about three or four years ago).
  • I went to Tampa, FL, for a weekend with my church highschool youth group (other than our youth leader, I was the only guy. Not that I'm complaining...). We went to Busch Gardens and enjpyed the beach while we were there (don't ask methe name of the beach, I don't remember).
  • On the ride to and from Tampa, we traveled in an RV and watched the following films: Dogma, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Producers (musical).
  • I didn't get a job anywhere. Nobody would hire me at the seven places I applied (I was desperate enought that I even applied at three fast-food places in addition to Chick-fil-A).

And that's pretty much it up to this point.

Mr. Cullens sent out an email with some sad news. Due to health issues and adivce from his doctor, the Fall production of Thoroughly Modern Millie has been cancelled. In November, he will make up his mind about Antigone. I hope everything works out okay for him, and that he comes back in the 2007/2008 season and directs a kick-ass production of...something.

On the plus side, there's $250 we won't be spending on ads! And if he cancells Antigone, there's another $250 we won't be spending on ads! I'll only have to cover The Nerd/Evening With Santa and Footloose.

Hopefully I will become more frequent with my posts. Perhaps I should only commit myself to weekly/bi-weekly postings. That way, I won't miss anything, and I'll have something to do when I have nothing to do (which hopefully won't be too often. Since Millie has been cancelled, mom's going to make me get an after school job within walking distance of the house. She wants me to apply at the Fresh Market again. My reason why not to: If they didn't hire me the first three times I applied, what makes her think they'll hire me the fourth time?)

When it comes to a job, I'd much rather wait until next summer when I have my driver's liscence and can drive myself to and from work no matter where it is. I'd like to get a job at the Barnes and Noble at the mall, or maybe even at the Borders at the mall. mom suggests that i apply at the nearby kennel since they are looking for a kennel technician. Do you know what a kennel technician is? It's the fancy way of naming the pooper scooper. i would keep the kennels clean of shit and shit. FUckingN job!

Well, while the house is empty, I'd like to watch The Light in the Piazza before grandma gets home and plants her ass before the TV all night watching the same damn thing every day (ABC soap operas, evening news, Braves game). It's truly a blessing when the Braves have a daytime game. Then, and only then, can we watch Wheel of Fortune on the good TV. Every other night I'm forced to watch it on the small $20 black and white TV with freakin' long antenna.

Type later!

BTW: I'm on AIM now! My screenname is sdg7190.
